How many times have kids come to your door selling candy bars, cookies or even cookbooks? For years now
not-for-profit organizations and other groups have been holding fundraising drives to raise money for special events and
operating funds. Why should you be selling candy bars for $1.00 each when you could be selling candles for much, much
more? People are more likely to buy something new and exciting instead of the same old thing, so candles are a sure
seller! In order to make comparable profits selling candy bars, you'd have to sell
Figure each participant should be able to sell at least 15 candles a piece, even more depending on how long the sale goes.
Figure up the dollar amount the organization will make off each candle. Let's use a 10 oz Apothecary candle as an
example and figure you'll make $4.50 profit from each candle sold. So if each child sells only 15 candles, that's $67.50
per child! If the organization has 30 kids participating, that would be a total of 450 candles, which would be $2,025.00
profit for the organization!! Try making that much with candy bars! Isn't it time you took advantage of the profit
potential in selling candles in your fundraiser?
THERE IS NO UPFRONT COST ON YOUR PART TO BEGIN SELLING! We produce and provide your organization
with the necessary order forms and product brochures for each seller with the name of your organization on the
documents. If you're a wholesale customer and want to offer fundraising opportunities for your customers, we'll put
your company's name and contact information on the order forms instead of ours! If you've previously purchased our
Personalized Custom Label service, we'll even put your label on the products!! If not, we will apply a La Lumiere stock
label with "Proudly Sold by (your organization)" on it!
As an incentive to sell more candles, we can provide a 1st place prize to the top seller in your organization! We can work
with you or the leader of the organization to find a local business in your community where we will purchase a $25 gift
certificate for the top seller!
We have two options to choose from when designing your fundraiser:
Option 1 - If you want twenty-five (25) or fewer items available to your customer, including items and their different
fragrances. For example, if you want to offer candles in the 4oz, 5oz, 9oz, and 10oz sizes, then you can have five (5)
fragrances per candle size, getting you to twenty-five (25) TOTAL ITEMS. Each single order form is single-sided and
capable of holding 10-15 sales each.
Option 2 - If you want to offer more than twenty-five (25) items, you have the ability to offer ALL the products we
offer in our fundraisers as listed below. Using this option, you can have a maximum of seventy (70) fragrances for all
the items. Each single order form is double-sided and capable of holding only one sale each.

The items available in our fundraiser are listed below. You can let us pick our best selling fragrances, or you can pick
and choose for yourself which fragrances to offer. Using the FUNDRAISER START-UP FORM, we'll help you finalize
the details of your fundraising event. You'll then need to complete the FUNDRAISER AGREEMENT and submit with
your $100 deposit. Within about five (5) BUSINESS DAYS of submitting the FUNDRAISER AGREEMENT we'll have
your sales kits on their way to you. As each salesperson makes a sale, he/she collects payment from the customer along
with their order form and contact information for your records. As the fundraising drive comes to an end, the leader
collects the money received, along with the order forms, tallies the order on the provided tally sheet and submits the
order with payment to La Lumiere. Your order will then ship in approximately 3-4 weeks. Delivery times may be longer
during the Christmas season.
When you decide to participate in our fundraising program, print out the four (4) forms below, complete them, sign
them, and return them to us by fax or mail. ALL FOUR (4) OF THESE FORMS MUST BE SIGNED TO BEGIN! Prior
to producing and mailing your sales kits, we will need to obtain a $100 non-refundable deposit. WE WILL NOT
DEPOSIT YOUR PAYMENT OR CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS TIME! We will only deposit your payment
or charge your credit card if:
1. You cancel your fundraiser after we've printed your package contents.
2. You fail to meet the $150 minimum fundraiser order amount. (Highly unlikely! ~ It's only about 25 candles!)
Please keep in mind that we need a minimum of five (5) BUSINESS DAYS lead time to prepare your fundraising
documents, not including mail delivery time to get them to you. Please do not fax your start-up documents on a
Thursday or Friday and expect to begin your fundraising event by Monday! When scheduling your fundraising event,
please allow about two (2) weeks of prep time from the day you sign and fax your start-up documents to the day you
begin selling. Your understanding here is greatly appreciated.
